you lost me for a time!

But I read on, ordered volume two and the Superpuzzle. Now that you revealed your strategy, I can begin to reconcile the unsettling contradictions I was so troubled by. Speaking so eloquently of abiding love for all humanity, going back to the old man who stopped beating his son after seeing for the first time the book that the lady found under the swing, as I recall, and then appealing to my “nature” caused me to question the sincerity of your original message! My nature isn’t quite what you may have imagined. I am a searcher as you say, but not a greedy one or one who acts in haste, or who takes short cuts and in so doing, burdens others. I search for solutions. As your lesson indicates, to communicate with those who are resigned to the status quo, you must dangle a carrot in front of them, so to speak, and begin by telling them what they want to hear, but do it in such a way as to reveal your real message when they might be better prepared to consider it. I was only interested in your real message! The nature part made you sound to me, for a time hypocritical. Now I see it differently. This was the underlying strategy of my book that I had only just begun when I was pleasantly interrupted by you folks. It was to use real stories, metaphors, outrageous cartoons and simple language to endear the reader, and then gently reveal to them that everything they believed was wrong and that certain policy changes could quickly restore the economy, the dignity and freedom for all of us. Turns out our ideas are eerily similar. Yours, however are much more far reaching than mine. So, in retrospect, the only way to really get to know the Neothink Society is to persevere. (as was your intention I believe) See you in a month, or sooner if I ever get to where I can post something on the web site…still no luck getting that to work! Wish I could just type it and put a stamp on it…oh well…
